You used to be able to put macros and keyboard combos onto the buttons, you could change the dpi settings for each of the 4 levels, you could change the DPI level of the 'sniper' button near the tip of your right thumb. You have to use 'G-Hub' which seems to only let you mess with the lights!! Turns out it's a 'G502 Hero' and the old lLogitech gsming software to assign DPIs, assign keystrokes to buttons,etc, is no longer compatible.
I just bought a G502, thought it would be the same as my old Proteus.
